How Usfans prices a parcel
Usfans charges international shipping separately, after your items have reached its warehouse and you have approved the photos. You choose the items to send together, and the site lists the lines available for your address with a price for each. Four things set that price:
- Chargeable weight. Most lines charge the larger of the real weight and the volumetric weight (length × width × height in centimetres, divided by the line's factor, often 5,000 or 6,000).
- The line. Express couriers cost more per kilo than economy and tax-inclusive lines.
- Your country. Prices and available lines differ by destination.
- Taxes included or not. Duties-paid lines include duty and VAT in the price; others leave them for delivery.
With more than 200 lines, according to Usfans, the choice can feel overwhelming. In practice only a handful serve any one country, and the decision comes down to speed, total price and whether taxes are settled upfront.
Weight or size, line, country and tax handling decide the price; compare totals, not per-kilo rates.
Line types and what to expect
| Line type | Typical speed | Taxes | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| DHL duties-paid (DDP) | About 5–10 days, as listed for US, UK, DE, FR, IT, ES, AU | Included | Valuable or time-sensitive parcels |
| Country-specific fast lines (e.g. the Spain line) | One buyer reported 11 days to Spain | Depends on the line | Spanish buyers wanting speed without courier prices |
| Tax-inclusive economy | Often two to four weeks | Usually included | Most EU parcels |
| Slow economy or sea | A month or more | Varies | Heavy parcels with no deadline |
Line names change, so use the table as a map and the checkout as the source of truth. Spanish buyers will find more on the fast line in our Spain line guide.
Duties-paid for certainty, country lines for speed at a lower price, economy when time doesn't matter.
Delivery times: what buyers actually report
Usfans doesn't publish average delivery times per country, so buyer reports are the best evidence. A Spanish buyer ordered on 4 November and received the parcel on 15 November, 11 days door to door, on what they described as the fastest line. An Italian buyer waited 29 days and asked for the extra fee back because the promised window was missed. A Google Play reviewer complained that a pair of shoes took more than a month. Add roughly a week for items to reach the warehouse before any of this starts.
The lesson is to treat each line's promised window as a commitment you can hold Usfans to. Screenshot it when you pay; if the parcel arrives late, you have evidence for a compensation request.
Expect anything from under two weeks to over a month; screenshot the promised window.
Taxes by destination
| Destination | What applies |
|---|---|
| EU (Spain, France, Germany, Italy…) | VAT from the first euro; since 1 July 2026, a €3 customs duty for each item category in parcels up to €150 sent under IOSS; normal duty above €150 |
| United Kingdom | VAT charged at the point of sale on parcels up to £135 |
| United States | Low-value parcels lost their duty exemption in 2025; DDP lines include duties |
The €3 is charged per category, not per piece: ten identical t-shirts count once, while a t-shirt and a cap count twice. Our shipping estimator adds this and VAT to a line price you enter.
Know whether your line includes taxes; otherwise they arrive at your door with a handling fee.
The declared value
When you submit a parcel, Usfans asks for, or shows, a declared value for customs. It should match what you paid for the goods. Under-declaring to lower taxes can lead to fines, delays or seizure, and it limits what insurance will pay if the parcel is lost, since claims are usually capped at the declared value. If you are unsure what to enter, ask Usfans support before paying.
Declare the real value; it protects your insurance as well as keeping you within the rules.
Tracking a Usfans parcel
- Find the tracking number in your parcel list once the parcel leaves the warehouse.
- Expect quiet periods. Economy lines often show no scans for a week while the parcel is in transit.
- Watch for a new number. After arrival, many lines hand over to your national post or a local courier.
- Act on real problems: a return to sender, a "delivered" status with no parcel, or no movement well past the promised window. Contact support with the parcel number and screenshots.
Quiet tracking mid-journey is normal; a missed window or false delivery is when you contact support.
Cutting the cost
- Combine items into one parcel; per-kilo prices fall after the first weight step.
- Remove shoe boxes and ask for compact packing to reduce volumetric weight.
- Use the 90-day storage to collect items before shipping.
- Mind the €3 categories on EU parcels: fewer product types per parcel means less duty.
- Apply coupons from your account; Spanish readers can see our coupon guide.
